We live in extraordinary times. Our challenges are extraordinary, as are the possibilities. Extraordinary times call for extraordinary measures. There is no time to waste.
These times call for an awakening of a new kind of consciousness. Our personal consciousness creates our personal reality, our collective consciousness and belief systems create our collective reality. Only a new kind of consciousness can bring about the miracle we now need on this planet to move to the next era, from the love of power to the power of love.
The chakra system provides an essential key to this transformation, a way through, both personally and collectively. Awakening is a miraculous experience.
The basic steps are simple, but take practice:
Ground into the earth and reclaim the foundation of matter as the Sacred feminine principle, not to be denied, but to be embraced. What are the sacred principles that form the foundation of your life, family, community, or business? To consecrate your ground is to bring it into alignment with the sacred (con=with, secrate=sacred.) Honor the feminine that is nourishing, receptive, and abundant.
By pushing into the ground, energies awaken within the body and begin to journey upward. All plants do this as they push their roots into the earth to grow taller. All buildings must have a good foundation to support the structure above. The ground is our beginning, and our place of rest from which we become renewed. When we deny the ground, we deny renewal, and the result is scarcity. Denying the first chakra creates crises in the areas of health, environment and economics. As the energies awaken in the body, they are organized at the core. Just as the spine is the central structure of the skeletal system, the vertical core is the central structure of the energy body, the cord of energy on which the jewels of the chakras are strung. By strengthening our core, we can handle a greater voltage of energy and remain grounded and centered. As this occurs we become a conduit between heaven and earth, a channel for the rainbow bridge.
To create this channel, we must move our bodies. Yoga opens the channels and strengthens the body. But feeling your way is also important, feeling the energies inside and moving so that their flow is assisted through the body. We draw the energies upward, chakra by chakra, opening the channel wider at each step along the way.
As we learn to draw energies upward, we simultaneously open the crown, which opens like a lotus, unfolding from the center of consciousness, infinitely peeling outward. To see a visual of the 7th chakra opening, click on image
As the crown opens, we experience the infinite nature of the divine and all its possibilities: limitless light, love, energy and life. When we are lost in limitation, it is because we have forgotten the infinite nature of the divine. Think of the starry night and its infinite expansion.
To withstand the infinite, however, takes a really good container – all the chakras open between crown and base, stepping down the energy into each of the 7 layers of manifestation: thought, light, sound, air, fire, water, and earth. These are the elements associated with the 7 chakras from top to bottom. They are the path through which we manifest our ideas into reality.
The key to running this energy fully between heaven and earth is to expand the heart which dwells in the middle. Through the breath, we soften, release our habitual holdings and body armor. Through the heart we surrender. To see a visual of the heart chakra, click on image
Surrender is the key to embracing more. It is not easy, and yet, it is the easiest thing of all. Surrender is the path of least resistance.
When you join with others doing the same, the energies multiply and become more powerful. They become a force for change and awakening.
